1 month sober
 

By the grace of God, I have 30 days sober. 30 days of not drinking one day at a time. This is the longest I've been sober for literally years. I now know that I never have to drink again.

Thanks to y'all on SR for helping me do this. :)

I pray that today, day 31, God will help me not to drink. I pray that each one of you has peace of mind today.

Congrats! So awesome. I hope to join you in the future. I've aimed for and fell well short of 30 days a couple of times recently, I know how daunting it can seem especially when you're halfway through. Really impressive and inspiring

Rennet, the important thing is that you're here and you want to do it. This is actually my second attempt at getting sober - the first time I got to 21 days and then went on a 2 week binge. If I can get back on the horse anyone can! This time round I've found it works better if I take it one day at a time rather than aiming for a set number of days at a time. Good luck! :)
