Any deaf or hearing impaired people in recovery
Hello...
I have a hearing impairment from Australia. I've joined up a number of sites on the net to aid my recovery as I've been struggling alot to get face-face support in group meetings with an interpreter present. I can't hear much what other people say in meetings so I have the barrier of still feeling isolated and missing out! (no ones fault of course), I am in early recovery and want to be in complete abstinence from my alcohol addiction. I am glad that the internet exists for me to read literature and other peoples experiences in recovery. It gives me hope... so i'll keep reading on! ...

Welcome to SR.
This site has been a remarkable resource for me. I hope you find it so as well and that it helps on your journey to sobriety. Isolation can hamper recovery, so I'm glad you found us!
