Frame of mind.
 

Don't be confused: we have choices everyday. Sobriety is one of them. Sure, people may have put major limitations on our lives or threaten to take things away,perhaps we lost things due to our behavior in the throws of our addictions. But, as much as people think they run out lives an tell us what we can and can't do, we have a choice to get and remain sober. We have a choice to stop the insanity and pull ourselves out of the holes we were creating. We also have a choice to remain actively drinking or using. We can embrace sobriety or we can be pissed that we can't have our poison.

I choose sobriety and happiness.

The power of decision is our last great defense against what ever comes our way from either inside or outside ourselves.
