New, and saying hello
I'm new to the forum--will be spending most of my time in the friends and family section, I imagine, as that's my situation. Just wanted to say hi to all and thank you all for being here. In the past 6 weeks or so, I have been incredibly angry, then very sad, and today I'm just scared to death....I keep flipping back to this forum and reading different pinned topics just to keep myself hanging in for the next half hour at a time.
Not much more to say, just thanks again for providing this kind of lifeline for in-between the times I can have some face-to-face contact w/others who understand...

(sigh....) Thanks, you guys. I am just drained, struggling to get thru the workday, and just taking a look thru the forums and the stickied items is a godsend today. Working from home is a mixed blessing--on the one hand, very isolating; on the other, if you suddenly burst into tears, no need to explain to anyone!
Least, I love your 2 sig lines about dogs! I am a dog lover also--have a basset and a terrier mix, and recently adopted another basset, an old guy (15), whose correspondingly old owner had to give him up due to medical issues. They are all so dear to me!
There are few things quite so comforting as to have a dog lie on either side of you while you read or sleep. It's one of the things I think can help "restore you to sanity", or at least make you calm enough to think...
