23 days...just happy to be here
So, I'm 23 days sober after a 10 plus year drinking binge. Before that I had 12 years Of sobriety. I spent the last 10 years in the bottle like I could've never imagined. Drinking a pint of vodka a day knowing that I was in trouble but I had no idea how to stop. I ended up in he hospital and I thank god for that! For some reason when the doctor asked if I drank, I answered honestly.
If anyone is thinking that "it will be better this time", hopefully I can be a testament that its not.
I'm only 23 days sober but I am very grateful that I was given another chance. Don't think I could do it again. With that being said, I'm going to sit down shut up and listen.

to SR and congrats on your sober time! It just keeps getting better, tho it may be a bit 'up and down' for a while. Just keep on keepin' on.
