Resveratrol/5-htp/otc supplements?
 

Hello again! I'm still going strong... day 71 today. Something has me a little concerned though. I had taken an otc diet supplement that contains Resveratrol. I didn't realize that Resveratrol is derived from Japanese knotwood and *red wine grape extract* from the skin and seeds, according to the bottle. Does this mean it contains alcohol? I'm wondering if this means I've messed up my sobriety...

Also. I've been taking a daily dose if 5-htp, which is an otc supplement. It is a precursor to serotonin and is used for mood improvement. What are your thoughts on these sorts of things being used while in recovery? I'm just afraid of tainting my sobriety.....
