Looking for gay NA or AA or both

Brian here from central Pennsylvania. Found this message board while googling looking for gay or gay friendly NA meetings in central PA.

If anyone knows of any gay or gay friendly NA meetings please let me know, thanks.

We, my better half and I just don't want our being a couple being an issue. We both need to get off alprazolam as we are to the point where it is the sole reason we live anymore. One job lost and one soon to go. It's time to stop but we are having a very tough time.

So that's the reason I'm looking for gay or gay friendly NA. We are not mean people at all we just don't want our being a couple be an issue for anyone.

I think you'd find lots of support on the general SR threads too, Brian. Hard to imagine a more diverse, welcoming bunch.

Glad you and your partner are taking action; it's amazing how much easier life gets once you're free of addiction.

Welcome Brian

I have a partner and it adds a dynamic to addiction that we must account for. There is mine, his and ours.

Like ready and able said.... This is a great group of people. Caring and smart.

Welcome and hope you stick around and post.

Ken

Welcome to SR. I had to Google your drug. having random urinalysis as a looming possibility for the past 26 years, I confined my addiction to alcohol. (That was bad enough!)

Read around the various forums here. Lots of good information on a variety of programs to help attain and maintain clean living.

Best of Luck!
