Hi my name is mike i am 75 days sober i am currently in intensive out patient. i love it. i have tried toget sober in the past with no success. idont know why but this time something is different.i really want this. dont get me wrong its been a constant battle. i believe i have the first step down. I am open toany suggestions that will help me on my journey of living sober.

Welcome and good for you for doing well in out-patient. I bet you're learning a lot and 75 days sober is great.

One of the things I have found most important in my recovery is balance. I try to get exercise, meditate, read spiritual books and work on staying positive.

I drank all my life. I was so afraid to let go of it. Instead of admitting I couldn't touch it, I tried for years to control it. No one could have made me quit - I had to be ready. It sounds like you're ready to lead a brand new life, one filled with hope instead of despair. We're glad you're here.
