I just realized that all the bars in town will do just fine without me; it's easy to find new regulars; and, drinking buddies are a dime a dozen.

I should be sad that I won't be missed, but somehow it is actually very liberating! I love my sober life!

Good call! I remember a few of my old drinking buddies. There were a few guys who I just met at the pubs or bars in the neighborhood on what were believe it or not "social nights" for me. Not exactly top notch company, if I do say so. I won't miss them and they won't miss me either.

It feels so weird when we come to these conclusions.

I used to think what would my old using buddies do without me. A month later I ran into a couple and guess what, they had another girl there!

It feels good to know that we can move on with our lives and the world will go on
