Hello everyone I had a really bad weekend with bulimia. I have been sober and an active member in AA for 21 months but bulimia and cigarettes still plague me. I thought I might try my luck with forums here as a way to keep me occupied and to serve. I cant make it to any oa meetings as I have a busy time with Aa and the groups are very small here. I need help and saw the 100 day sweet abstinent thing and thought I could give it a go starting now.

I have a very beautiful life with everything else but the cigs and bulimia I thank the fellowship for this gift......but I have along way to go!: I feel yuky and diconnected today.

Hi saam

You'll find a ton of support here

There's also dedicated forums for smoking and eating disorders too

Hi, Saam, very nice to meet you, and I look forward to seeing you around SR. I assume that your doctor is aware of your bulimia? If not, I think that you should make sure he/she knows owing to the rather serious medical consequences that that condition entails, even some ones that I would never have connected, such as certain anti-smoking drugs not to be taken if there is a history of bulimia (welbutrin comes to mind)--your doc or pharmacist (chemist? ) can let you know. Again nice meeting you, and best to you, rick
