Thanks everyone - it's an honor, really. I'm constantly amazed at the dedication and wisdom of the moderators here and the number of lives I've seen changed through this forum..... including my own.

It's hard to fill CarolD's shoes, so I won't try (just go easy on me at first, guys! lol).... the way I see it, we're all in this together, whether we've been here a day or a decade. That's what makes it all work.

Thanks to Artsoul - and ALL the mods!
On Friday I was on the fence about drinking... on day two! This place was a big part of my NOT drinking of Friday. There was a thread started by Precious Kitty about a big tendency to hit the drink on Friday nights and there lots of good suggestions about how to deal with it.
