Day 16
 

Saturday night and I'm looking forward to my Sunday morning. A good day today. Met a friend in a coffee shop as opposed to a pub. Some other friends called to ask me to meet them in a pub as opposed to a coffee shop. Now I'm at home writing this. I'm sober and feel really good. It is strange how slowly reaching 7 days seemed. I can't believe it will be 3 weeks on Thursday. I know there will be some tough times ahead but one thing I have learned about myself is that I can function without alcohol and I truly believed I couldn't. Whatever happens I know that about me and that doesn't feel too shabby x

Congrats on your sober time...amazing sometimes how time flies, especially when things start to turn up. And they always turn up when we stop drinking. :)

congrats. It's pretty astonishing how rapidly the positive benefits of not getting messed up all the time showed theirselves to me. I'm at 60 days so I can confidently say hang in there, and you'll just feel better and better.
