So I'm seeing a band in London today who I've been waiting to see for nearly a year. I'm on day 3 - and I MUST NOT drink today - however it's going to be really hard as having lunch in London and at the concert too. I'm praying I have the willpower today to keep this going ....

i sing in a band if it were me i'd be glad to see sober people enjoying my "music"
I went to see Judas priest last year and know i wouldn't have enjoyed it half as much if i'd have been going down that crazy road of drinking .If i'd have managed to get there .
Stay sober and you get to be present for, and experience the whole show

What time's the gig? You could go to an AA meeting before it starts. There's one in Euston at 6pm

I can't attend an AA before as have a friend with me who doesnt know about my drinking problem .... .come on Callie .. you can do this!!! Speak to you all later and thanks so much as always for your support!

I've been to some awesome concerts, incredible once in a lifetime shows... and I don't remember a second of them because I drank too much. Yet another waste caused by drinking... just think, you will get to enjoy every second of this concert - and remember it too!
