I'm new to the forum. I'm a recovering alcoholic and today is day 100. It's good to be here.

LostinWa, are you in Washington State? I'm trying to get back into the rooms after an awful drinking/gambling binge. Lost everything my wife and I had. What's worse, I was taking money from my employer that I now have to give back. Kicked out by wife, just got back into town after going east for 3 days to be with my father (in the rooms and clean for 30 years), never been to a meeting here and am terrified. Not of the meetings, but of the path to come. Any chance you'd be willing to connect?

Have gone to two meetings already today here in Seattle. Trying to put the pieces back together in life, but still dealing with so much fear...overwhelming fear.

MWK..... Do not be afraid you have us:). One day at a time.....before you know it one day turns into 2 .. 2 to 4 .. 4 to 8 .. They just keep stacking up. I know this to be true.. Hang in there. It is doable!!

Way to go Road, and welcome. I guess I'm at 42 here. Holy smokes, guess I just realized that I'm nearly to 1/2 of a 100! Anyway, I really hope I can get to where you're at. Best of luck for the future.
