Hey, sorry haven't logged in for a while.

I take 500mg twice a day. First thing in a morning and then around 5pm.

Both times on an empty stomach.

I'm absolutely astounded by the results.

Its been life changing for me.

Monday morning (in the UK at least) and no hangover.

I could get used to this.

I've had some stuff come up this week, and haven't had a chance to act on this new opportunity...but I expect I will within the next 2 weeks...It sounds like an option to explore prior to the very expensive option I was looking at 2 or 3 weeks ago...

Just wanted to check in and let you know this thread has helped give me some NEW ideas to use for staying sober!

Thanks.

It's interesting that kudzu is a metaphor for confusion, because of the way it grows.

There is an archaic principle that the usefulness of plants is shown in their characteristics.

It's interesting that in the world of homeopathy......"what makes a man ill also cures him."

There is so much knowledge out there yet we know so little.

Kudzu is in the pea family. It is a weedy vine.

I don't think this comes as a tea. But the standardized strength supplements are helpful in reducing cravings at least for some. I started taking it and don't know if it's a placebo effect, but i think less about having a glass of wine...and at 22 months it has been creeping up on me.

According to folklore, this is a good weekend (March 30,2013) to quit.

And according to folklore, herbal supplements contain alcohol! So not only are you getting an herbal remedy, but you are getting a homeopathic dose of alcohol! Perfect!

(PS--fresh orange juice has alcohol too. It's also great for recovery!)

The last thing I want to do is give my AV more firepower since my AV would convince me it was working even if it wasn't. I am happy for the people who have tried it with success though.

Kudzu seems to also be good for T2 diabetes and heart (circulation) problems. I'll have to do some more research. I'm not a fan of supplements, as I think standardization is problematic in the United States and I believe most supplements are ineffective. However, I've found some name-brands put out a better product than others

I think this is on-topic...

I have been taking L-Glutamine, and it seems to lessen those body cravings for alcohol and sugar. It's an amino acid. I haven't found a study on humans, but it did make alcohol-addicted rats reduce their consumption of alcohol dramatically.
