Seizure last night
So I am prescribed Suboxone, (24mg) sublingual daily, and Trazadone (100mg) at night. I've only been taking them for a few weeks now and have been fatigued, nauseous and throwing up most days, and last night was shaking off an on, almost like small seizures. I have an appointment with my Doc in a few days and was told not to change my dose, but the side effects are getting worse. Any ideas? Has anyone else had seizures from Suboxone or Trazadone? Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Hi pdxkush
we can't give you medical advice here, especially about things like seizures.
If you can't see your own doctor I think it's best to go to the ER. Seizures are nothing to mess with.

I cant believe an urgent care can not see you NOW! Call & tell them you feel you are experiencing seizure symptoms, and major side effects.

Remember we somehow found a way to get drugs & alcohol to make us feel the way we wanted. We are persistent as addicts to get what we need. Now you need to use that to get what you need right now, Help with getting well!

I too must encourage you to get to the ER IMMEDIATELY.
The seizures I had when finally quitting literally killed me and I was in the ER.
Please get to the ER and report back later what they did and said.
This is nothing to play with.
Sending healing thoughts and prayers.
Love and hugs,

I'm averse to meds. I think the seizures I've had were strictly due to alcohol. I have a follow up appointment, but I never had seizures before, so I think it's doubtful that I'm developing epilepsy. Grand mal seizures scare the living crap out me.
I hate Trazadone with a passion, but it will knock you out.

Fantastic news. I have been on so many different meds it is not even funny. Sadly most never did a darned thing for me. On a good note I have never had med withdrawals and if I wanted to stop a specific med I would just lower the dosage and then stop all together. Trazadone, gabapentin did nothing to help me sleep. Venaflaxine helps for sleeping and I have Wellbutrin once a day to help me quit smoking. I got so tired of the new meds they prescribed me I wold just throw them in the drawer if they didn't do anything after a couple of weeks and then I would give them back to the dr. On my next visit.
