Who has the liquor license?
Just wanted to share this happy tidbit with the crew. I'm about five days out from a month and things are still going smoothly. Newcomers high, probably. We decided to go out to dinner for the first time since I started all this and I was feeling a little bit nervous about it. I don't want to be the only person who can't have a nice glass of wine with an Italian meal.
Well, I couldn't help smiling at this happy coincidence. Just now I received a call from the restaurant regarding our reservation. Apparently, they recently changed ownership and they're sorry to report that the liquor license hasn't been updated! There will be no alcohol of any kind served tonight! :c029:
And as an added perk, they offered us 50% off our meal for the inconvenience! More than anything, I'm so glad to have this choice taken away from me, even if just for one night.
