Whew, Day 6!

Just a few minutes into it, but still, it's here! I fear I can count on one hand the # of sober weekends I had last year, here's hoping I can start using both hands, feet, and the buttons on my coat to count the ones I have this time around.

I don't think I am strong enough for outings yet, I suppose this might be a bad thing to continue long term, but for at least this weekend, I've gathered some books to read and plan on spending a lot of time sleeping. I still feel so sleep deprived from the recent past that it seems like a new toy I am excited to play with now that I can dream again -- oh look, a nap!!

I don't think there's anything wrong in staying in in the early days - and day 6 is early days

enjoy your weekend

Congratulations on your 6th day. I slept for the majority of my first two weeks of sobriety. I relished the fact that I could sleep. Then I realised that I had so much clear time I needed to fill it with positive things and structure. Try and form a structure and you will find the days get easier.
