Some how I made it 30 days Sober!
This is the 1st time in many years I have gone this long with Out alcohol!
Its hasn't flew bye, by any means. And there are been much work including inpatient/out-patient treatment & my AA meetings.
But somehow I have passed over that 30 day mark. I so admire & respect all the wisdom & support I get from this site.
Thank you all for sharing & listening!
I am celebrating today by letting myself eat chocolate & going to a meeting tonight! WHOO-HOOO!
Seriously if you told me even 6 months ago those words would come out of my mouth I would have peed my pants laughing!
But I am more happy with a SOBER SMILE, & looking forward to the next 30 days!
~ Peace,
Jules

How sweet my mother picked me up today & said she thought today (14th) was my 30 days sober & had a gift for me. She gave me a beautiful necklace.
I think it was sweet that she was actually keeping track too. Maybe those years of her having to worry about what I would do next while drinking can someday just be replaced with the good days & sober conversations we have.
(Thanks Momma!)
