Update on a friend still drinking
 

Haven't heard from her in four days, ever since I was adamant about not meeting in bars. I pray for her, but there's nothing else I can do until she realizes drinking has cost her her job, many friends - and most of all - her reputation.

I truly believe tough love is the answer right now, although if she stops boozing, I''ll be there for as much support as she needs/wants.

I think you are doing the right thing.
