Day 3...better than day 2!
I feel much better physically today, and I know I'll feel even better tomorrow and even better the next day. Every other week before, this would get me to Friday...and feeling amazing...so hey, I could have a drink or two... Not any more though. I have to remember how bad it feels and really REALIZE that how AMAZING I feel (physically) on Friday is BECAUSE the alcohol is leaving my system...not because I don't really have a problem. I think my drunken face plant last weekend finally literally knocked some sense into me.

Congratulations on quitting drinking. Feeling better physically is an amazing feeling but it's even better when you start feeling better on a mental/emotional level. I wish you the best of luck in your recovery. Do you have any support methods you are using?

Good for you, be aware though that the motivation you are feeling now (which is great) might not always be there. Keep on your guard. And Natom is right about the detox process, you start to get your overall clarity back. Dreaming is awesome when you are off the drink. Hey keep on keeping on.
