I know this was all this morning--I really cant go on at work--too many eyes.

((Ted)) For me the negative thoughts gave me more reason to drink. When writing about how I am powerless over alcohol and my life was unmanagable, I realized that it is so much easier to generate anger. I made up problems and turned stuff around until it fit the cause, DRINKING!
Now I do a gratitude list and look for possitive/happy things. As you can see, some days are better then others! LOL

I can relate to that so much. I'm was always making things up in my head to be angry about, or depressed about. I would wind myself up and then justify the boozing.

I discussed this with my counsellor, and he called it the "poor me's"

and then before you know it, it's
