The first days sober can feel a bit overwhelming/weird, but it really does get better. I was terrified to give up drinking even though it was ruining my life. Once I found support here and decided to take the plunge, I was SO grateful I did.
Hang in there and take things in manageable bites - easy does it! Glad you're here!

Just out of curiosity, did you see the thread regarding body launguage predicting relapse? It is very interesting but kinda discouraging.

Hi RMR just wanted to say welcome and that I quit all my substance abuse at the same time 59 days ago. Alcohol, smoking and pot. It can be done! Maybe not for everyone but I feel I had to do it this way.
