Greetings and salutations
Hi all,
I'm not exactly new to recovery but I am trying to figure out where I fit in and what approach is best for me. I went pretty much cold turkey 2 1/2 years ago (before that time, alcohol was my only drug of choice, about a bottle of wine every other night) - but in the last 3 months I've been self medicating again, about a bottle of white every 4-6 days in one sitting. It's like a pressure-release valve, I'm also on meds for depression and have re-entered counselling. Anyway, just saying hi and letting you all know I'll be lurking ...

Please try to be very honest with the counselor.
Sometimes our best thinking, regarding what is best for ourselves, is muddied....usually by fun stuff like fear, pride, etc.
There's lots of help available for the asking.
