Many journeys into sobriety have started where you are now. I have heard it said (and I am paraphrasing) that you can't think your way into acting differently, but you can act your way into thinking differently.
You need to take action, try anything and everything to stay sober. Change your routines. Don't pick up that first drink.

Like they say the first time you walk through the door of an AA / NA group, or a treatment center. We don't care how you got here, We are just GLAD you are here & want to keep you here! Heres to 24 hours!
to the family! You're not hopeless. I thought I was hopeless for a long time but with the support of my counselor and the good people here I finally 'got it' and have been sober three years now when I used to be lucky to manage two days sober.
I'm glad you found us and joined the family. :ghug3

Welcome Bootsie!
If it helps, tell us more. I know posting my thoughts and experiences here makes me feel better.
Thanks for joining, thanks for posting, and thanks for admitting that too much is wrong for you! Healing starts somewhere, and that is a big start my friend!
