New to the forums
Hi,
I used to drink a lot. I haven't had a drink in almost a year. I feel tons better!
I just wanted to say hello, and that I'm new, but i like talking to people who have gone through similar things. I think it helps a lot.
I have a friend who just relapsed after a couple years sober...sucks because now he has another small child. I think the kid made him worry more.
Anyway, I'm new to the forums, saying hi, and hopefully I can make some positive contributions and learn some things.

Hey Michael,
Welcome to the forum and congrats on your clean time. I think you will find that there are a lot of people here who are going through some of the same things you are.
After a little while clean, I am learning that there is more to recovery than just staying clean. Thanks for posting, and stick around!

A year sober is great - congratulations! I'm sorry to hear about your friend's relapse - all we can do is stay strong and be there when they decide to get sober again.
