I an newbee & just wanted to say "HI" This is my 1st day I plan to stay sober in over a year. I am committed to a new life in 2013.

I thought I needed alcohol to ease my lonliness but it turns out it just made me feel more alone & depressed...not to mention fat & suicidal. So yesterday after reading some of the inspirational stories on this website I knew if others who felt just as hopeless could do it then I dare sure could too.....so here goes.....
