Hav'nt done the guitar thing yet ,
went to the supermarket and made grilled salmon, i had it with slowly saute'd in butter finely sliced savoy cabbage and a clove of smashed with my big chineese style chopper garlic , a whole meal pitta bread and a scoop of lemon and coriander/ciltrano hummus .

I have a banana and tangerine on the side for later and am enjoying a nice ice cold pint of water .

life is good

Bestwishes, M

I was so sad. They lost in the super bowl last year. So 2 years, 2 good seasons, no championships.

Watching it with AA people, so no favor done unfortunately.

What is a good birthday gift for a 27 year old girlfriend of 10 months? I was thinking iPod nano.

Glad to read everyones posts. Everyone seems like they are hanging in there is a good way. My weekend has started out slow and restful with cleaning, organizing and eating lol. I must make it to the beach! Today? Hopefully.

That sounds like a lovely present!

You could put some of your shared favourite tunes on too

Yeah, I made a playlist for her 2 weeks ago that she has been enjoying. I think I will go with it.

Sorry if this is hijacking the thread!

Hey everybody, this looks like a cool thread!

I came here looking for a laugh -- anybody know a good joke for a sober drunk?

I gave up on my day early yesterday. Went to bed about 6:30 and now up at 2:30. Guess I will nap some more.

Anyway... Feel good here. Friends upstairs invited me to a stupid bowl party. Not a football fan. I always watched for the drinking buddies. Now I will relax at home. I will probably hear their revelry coming from their place. But that's not on my list of sober approved places to go.

I have a cat that purrs so damn loud! He is sitting behind my head and won't shut up! Lol... Guess I will go lay down.

There is a bar across the street... The place I used to go to... The bar people are loud leaving right now... Clearing the newly fallen snow off their cars. While I am considering a run to get bacon and eggs to make later from the 24 hours store up the street.

Ahhhh... How life has changed.... I would normally be waiting for my dealer to deliver another 200 of coke and chatting with other drugged up drunk losers on chat.

Weasel, perhaps you have a Guardian Angel cat, growling at your AV?

My sleep schedule is all jacked up, too. Usually that makes me agitated. Usually if I'd wake up at 0330 on a Sunday I'd hit the hooch until I was back asleep - at about 0700, and the rest of the day would be wasted. Today, not so much. I woke up at 0330 on Sunday - just gonna deal with it!

Nonsensical... Went back to bed... Just got up again. Heading to get those eggs and bacon I am craving.

Took out the recylcleables and was happy there were NO vodka bottles or beer cans I didn't remember I drank. Good feeling.

Hey ready... I love a good massage as well. They only had appointments for today so I go later. 1.5 hours for $75. That's not bad.

Morning all Just!

Having a quick cuppa, can't decide what to do today... I have the option of going to my mums for a huge Sunday roast *nom nom* but I'm tempted to just send the kids and carry on with the spring clean I started yesterday. Sounds bonkers doesn't it? What's to choose from? But i'm getting a lot of pleasure out of a clean house so far so think will continue in peace...

Yep, that's how exciting I am

Have a great day everybody!

I had bacon and eggs this morning too....then with riding with the bf, went for a really nice walk in the woods, and had a fantastic roast beef dinner. Didnt get quite as much cleaning and organizing done as I had hoped but it was a grand weekend anyway
