I need your support (please)

I've just woken up and can't stop vomiting. Had my last drink about 6 hours ago and feel like death. I want to do this. I will do it. Please help me to get through this because I'm stuck to this site like glue at the moment!!

TM if you feel concerned at all please get someone to help you go see a Dr.

Otherwise, I know you'll find a ton of support here today

Sorry to hear about you being sick...body getting rid of the poison. Good thing, although messy.

Welcome, and hope you feel better.

Welcome to the site TM. You will find a lot of support there. Detoxing can be really awful and like Dee says, if you feel it s getting out of control go see a doctor. Detoxing from some pills and from booze can be life threatening in some instances depending on how much you consumed and for how long. Hopefully, all you will have is the shakes, the sweats and puking.
Drink a lot of fluids and take some multivitamins if you have any. Gatorade and sport drinks are really good if you are getting dehydrated...hang in there, it will get better

TM, keep posting, you know there is always someone here. I'm sorry that you're as sick as you are, but again, if you are that bad, please don't be afraid to get help. Good luck. ~ VB

Welcome to SR. Sorry you feel bad now, but don't forget this feeling! My aversion to the morning after feelings is one if the things that helped keep me alcohol free in the very beginning, and even now a few weeks in. Sobriety is possible and the people on this forum help me to see it everyday. Good luck!

You can do this, TM. I'm in the January 2013 group and I know that not one of us who's just reaching the one month mark hasn't feel absolutely lousy staring down our demons - and lots of times at that. Hang in there, TM!

Just remind yourself you deserve to be sober. Don't be hesitant to seek medical attention if you need it; you are worth it!

Welcome, TM75. As others say, if you feel like it's getting worse, by all means get to a Dr. They can make the experience less painful. Don't be ashamed or too proud to seek help. Amy Winehouse and Whitney Houston died young because they didn't get help. Hang in there, get the help you need. You will survive.

TM, please don't give up now! You've come this far and I know you don't want to go through this again! As others have said, if it gets to be too much, seek professional help. If you are bound and determined to do this alone, and you feel that you can do so safely, then freaking go for it! This really can be the last time you EVER have to feel this way again.
