All dried out and back on the wagon I am back and this time I mean business (I hope). Day three and not feeling too bad. This is the easy part though. My drinking spiralled out of control again. So tired of feeling weak, ashamed and guilty. Hope you're all being strong and successful in 2013. |
You mean business this time, that's great. What changes have you made with this effort to assure you don't fall back down? |
Hello islandlass and welcome. I was in Scotland this past November, beautiful country! We are here to support you! |
I have made several changes recently. I broke up with my boyfriend/drinking partner. I got a wee puppy to have some real responsibilty in my life and I am hopefully going to be starting on Natrexone shortly to help with the cravings. Hope all these make a difference. I am also still seeing all my support workers regularly. |
Thanks Alison. It is truely a beautiful part of the world, if a little cold at times. Ha. |
welcome back islandlass :) D |
Islandlass, All dried out and back on the wagon? You are FANTASTIC. Congratulations. :egypt: |
Hello islandlass. It's great to see you again. You can do this. |
Thank you for the post!!!! I'm not far behind you. Just have to stick with it. These first days are not fun. Congrats on your great additude and day 3!!!!!! |
I'm glad there are plenty of seats on this wagon as I, too, had to keep crawling back on again! I think the view looks much better on the wagon then it did off. I'm sorry you ended a relationship, but I'm really happy to hear that you lost your drinking partner. |
Hi Island, glad you're back, I'm not exactly new, but was away for a while. Anyway, I am happy to be here, and glad you are too. :) |
Thank you all for your comments. It really means a lot. Hope we can all get through today. One day at a time. |
