Good for you guys

I was just sitting here on the computer ,surfing ,having a good time . A couple friends were texting me ,both hammered , one has to work at 6am and one gets drunk every nite but has the day off tomorrow ..good for you guys lol ,,not missin that feeling of waking up still hammered and having the painful withdrawl around noon ,driving around looking for a washroom to feel better..not missing it all ..looking forward to my day 16 and knowing ill spring out of bed ,full of energy ready to take on the day ,actually looking forward to reading a chapter or two in a hour or so..

I dont miss it either, its 2AM and i should have been in bed hours ago, but Im not drunk and will feel much better than i did when i stayed up this late drinking.

Congrats on your 16 days, it only gets better!

Yes it is Startingover444, part of me felt sorry for my friend who works because i know what he is in for ,ive been in those shoes many many times,too many times..last time my hands were shaking trying to use a screwdriver..couldnt put a simple screw into a hole ,the screw fell about a dozen times, and im supposed to be the professional!
No , im happy exactly where iam right now ,content

Congratulations!
It does feel better with every passing day, doesn't it?
Just think about the first few detox days.... it felt like the nightmare will never be over... And you can compare it to how you feeling now!
