prayer of strength sent your way.

Rehab was a wonderful experience for me. I know it can be the same for your son, and for your family as well.

All the best,

SD

Welcome! Sending prayers your way! I would also definitely check out the Friends and Family forum. I'm sure there are lots of people there who have been through similar situations.

I think it is fantastic that you are checking your son in to a rehab! He is soooooo lucky to have you as support for him! He is going to need a lot of strength too. I suggest that you contact Al-Anon or Naranon to get support on how to support a person in recovery.

He is lucky to have you as part of his support system. I don't know what I'd do without my parents there for me when I needed them most. Prayers with you!

Rehab helped me clear my mind and look at the issues in my life. It was a hard time and it should be. Almost everyone that goes to rehab always regrets not getting involved sooner so my only advice is that gets "uncomfortable" right away. It is in the uncomfortable state that real growth starts to blossom.
