Arctic this has never happened to me. Are you able to seek medical attention? Please take care of yourself.

Its never happened to me but I would see a doctor asap. You may need to be scoped. Alcohol can do all kinds of damage to your esophagus/stomach

We cannot give medical advice Artica. But I can encourage you to get to your local Emergency Room ASAP.

Vomiting blood can be serious.

Agreed. It MAY be nothing too serious, but vomiting red blood (undigested) indicates it is coming from the throat. Vomiting can tear the esophagus, which can cause bleeding. I also know (because I had a former partner with liver disease) that liver disease can cause varicose veins in the esophagus that can rupture and literally cause fatal bleeding.

So you don't need to panic, but it IS very, very important to have it checked out. It's also important that you let the doctor know how much you drink so certain things can be ruled out or investigated.

I suggest you get to a doctor or emergency room as soon as you can. From my researching the effects of alcohol on the body after my own health scare there are quite a few reasons why blood would come up none of which im qualified to speculate on. I wouldnt drink at all until u find out whats going on.

Arctic I am not a doctor or a medical professional so I can't diagnose you. I think there are lots of reasons this could happen, some more serious than others. Please make it a priority to get yourself checked as soon as possible. This is nothing to play around with. Your kids need you healthy.

I am not a doctor, but I do know a bit about medical stuff due to my line of work. I think anytime there is blood in vomit, urine or BM it is mandatory that you call your doc asap. Esophageal varices are one cause of blood in puke and they are life threatening. You don't want to go there, you have babies that need you. So make the call as soon as you are able. Best of luck.

You're right to make your kids your top priority—and right now they are relying on you to make sure their mom will be OK. So please, get yourself checked out. That's the best thing you can do for your kids. Please listen to everyone—and get looked at so this doesn't get worse.

I think it's important we don't freak folks out, and that's one of the reasons why we ask people not to speculate here, even if they have medical knowledge

It might be something a lot less serious than esophageal varices.

The point is none of us know - that's why the responsible thing is see a Dr

Hi ArcticSA, I'm happy you found the forums. I know you're a bit anxious, but as I told you in chat, we cannot diagnose nor give medical advice. What happens with one member doesn't mean it's happening to you.

Nice to see you have a plan and will follow up with your Doctor. Please let us know how you make out.

Best Wishes To You!

WHO CARES IF IT HAPPRENED TO ANYONE ELSE!!!! We are all different and this needs to be evaluated by a professional ASAP.

Someone else's experience is not going to help you one bit-this is not normal, we are not doctors , and a doctor is what is needed.

I'm happy to hear that you are going to see your doctor. It is always best to be on the safe side when something out of the ordinary happens with our bodies.

I hope that the doctor will give you all the answers you need
