Today will be a rough day.

Up down up down up down. These mood arcs are killing me.

In a couple of hours, ill be driving a 6 hour drive in the rain. No CD player, spotty radio. Just me. Maybe I should bring a voice recorder to capture my thoughts.

I'm scared of what ill find in my own mind.

no iPod? cellphone doesn't play music? heck you can get a small cheapo FM radio from the dollar store for a buck. Thats what I'd probably do. Its good that you're thinking ahead even if your thoughts are making you anxious. Your mind can talk you into all kinds of things if you're not prepared. Good luck! Try to stay positive! Look forward to hearing you made it ok!

aww...don't think too much...I'm sure your head is no scarier than anyone elses

if you can't find a way to have your own music, stick to the radio and just concentrate on the road...you'll be fine

who knows, maybe 6 hours of thinking may help you think and solve some problems you had bottled up, I always found when being alone in silence helped me find out who I really was. But I know no music and 6 hour drive means boring...good luck

I hope you are going someplace good too!! Do you have Pandora on your phone? You can pick music to suit whatever mood you are in, or want to be in.

Drive safe!

Take it from a Vegas repeat offender ... Just because it seems like a good idea at the time it's not. Trust me. I reckon most Vegas visitors never see the outside of the casinos and bars. At least that's my experience.

Be careful and know your addict voice is going to be screaming at you - yell back at it and fight for your sobriety. You are worth it!!! I wish you a sober, fun and happy trip!

Threw out the rest of my weed before I got on the freeway to Vegas. Alcohol Beat 1/16/13, Marijuana Beat 1/25/13.

All that's left now to beat is cigarettes, which usually went hand in hand with alcohol. Though I sure have been smoking a lot more since 1/16!!!

I used to drive a car with no sounds. Long drives too. Believe it or not I sang. What the hey. No one there to complain so I just sang loud and clear. Not loud and good.
My car never complained once.
