life will still happen!
i used to think when i get sober the sky will light up and my life will be all sunflowers and roses, but life is life...
Atleast now iam sober i have a chance at dealing with my problems instead of trying to drink them away.
I dont try and fix my whole life in 1 day no more, i just do the best i can for 24hrs and dont drink.

That's how we do it, focus on doing the next right thing, and problems do tend to work themselves out.
I think that recovered alcoholics are sometimes better than "normal" (non-alcoholic) people at coping with life--once they've picked up, and learned to use, the tools for sober living.

Amen! We did not break ourselves in a day and we are not going to fix ourselves in a day either. Day by day things get better and they can never be as bad as they were when alcohol had us in it's death grip.
Trudging the road to happy destiny
Trudging the road to happy destiny
Our past alcoholic life is behind us, and real freedom to happily live a quality sober life is always in the now and going forward.
Doing the next right thing at hand is always sage judgment to ensure a better life then once we had. Bring it.
