| In a funk
Just popping in to post since I've been rather quiet on here.... Don't know how many days I haven't drank, but not counting. Somewhere around a month?? Just been kind of bummed and not interested in stuff. Moved 6 months ago to a high altitude area to be w/ my mom and just haven't felt right physically since I've been here. Love being closer to her and definitely want her to live her life out in her own home, but ... just not all that happy living here.
I have done good w/ the drinking, though. Anyone who remembers me knows I love live music, and I've been able to go out w/ my friends to clubs and not drink. Feel good about that. Have been doing a meeting every week as well and really like everyone. Still haven't called anyone - heck, haven't even called my friends back home. Just been in this funk for the past week. Just want to withdraw....
Did have a lip biopsy last week that has me kinda concerned. Doc said it didn't look like cancer, which is a relief. But want my energy back.
Waa, waa, waa. Well, I AM grateful for my many friends and this site and that I've been able to get to some meetings. It's movement, at least.
So..., just airing my stuff on here to get it out of my head and down on ... the site, lol! Don't mind me... I'll get over it, hah!
