Food
Wow! I just ate and noticed that I wasn't in a complete food-coma afterwards. I swear, no matter how little I was eating when I was drinking, eating was the kiss of death because I would be so exhausted after. It feels nice to start noticing changes like this. It gives me strength to move forward.
You've just reminded me how I often used to take a nap after lunch. I couldn't function whilst digesting food. Of course I thought it was a food intolerance, bacterial imbalance, diabetes etc before I realised it was alcohol. Quitting also cured my IBS too. Go figure!!

I heard an explination from a nurse friend of mine regarding this. It is that enough of your blood is dedicated to absorbing the nutrients in your small intestine that you expirence a mini withdraw until you drink more or the food moves on. Don't know if thats correct, don't really care. I'm just real happy we're not going through it anymore! keep up the great work!
