You know i am a bad person.

I fear the things I have posted on FB.

How can I be here again? Super drunk and saying I will stop.

Got a job incredably and I need to cease this endless sorrow.

I went to the store twice, trying to buy as little as.

I am a lazy ass drunk. I love drinking somehow. It's a bad habit.

It's a bad habit. I dont know how I can meet the obligations I have tomorrow.

I dunno, I reckon drinking is more than just a bad habit. I have a lot of bad habits I could give up quite easily without much upset.

Have you tried getting support to quit Spacestation? x

Congrats on the new job btw. It was fear of losing my job that really spurred me on to quit. Time for a new start maybe?

MythOfSisyphus 01-21-2013 01:09 AM

Having a bad habit doesn't make you a bad person. Start at the start, Spacestation. Just don't drink tomorrow. Take it from there. If you're ready to quit there are resources to help. Hang in there.:ghug3

I'm a bad actor

Holy crap.

I need to stop, and stop for good.

I just got a traffic ticket $173 which I cant afford.

And I was drinking all day. 10 brews. And I somehow got out of there. F&*ing Lucky.

You know... not a thing has gone right today. It's a big universe and this was not my day at all.

Oh man I was shiting bricks. A stupid "you cant turn between 4 and 6 pm" ticket.

Of course I wanted to minimize consequences. I'm not going to lip off some cop. I Lit a cigarette and poped some gum. Barely rolled down the window.

But I have been there before, just the wrong cop and your car is impounded and you are up **** creek.

Not a good day. I have hope for tomorrow I guess.

Tomorrow?

Deal with today and for now, stop drinking.

We can't hope or wish our addiction away.

It takes action.

This was me :) along with the drunk texting and drunk dialling. I am happy that I don't have to worry about that anymore. You can do it too :)

I agree with Xune, space.
I spent 20 years waiting for tomorrow to start cleaning up my mess of a life.

The best time to start doing that is yesterday.
The second best time is today :)

Spacestation, it seems like a pretty good chance that tomorrow will be a better day for you. Sorry today was rough. You were really lucky to just get a ticket!

Xune is right-quitting is going to take action. You have the desire to stop, and have found SR which are two good steps towards a better future.

My first day without a drink was on a Monday, but I decided Sunday night that was it, no more! Try to decide to make a change for the better now. You can do this! It's hard at first, but gets easier all the time.

You'll find you won't be beating yourself up all the time either, or feeling like a bad person. Your facebook posting may improve too :)

Actually this is a best case scenario...given the possibilities.

After you sober up tomorrow you might think about a plan for quitting. At the very least, formulate a plan for staying out of your car while drunk.

There are many good methods here and lots you can learn. You seem like a smart and capable person, certainly capable of taking advantage of all the resources there are out there to help you end this madness. I hope you find some relief because addiction to alcohol is truly exhausting. It's soul sucking. I would love to see you walk free.

Let's try this again, spacestation. Within all of us is the ability to turn our lives around. We know you can stop alcohol from ruling your world. Never give up.
