Continue to take it day at a time. Two days is a huge accomplishment! Before my last drink (just 46 short days ago), I could barely remember a time when I went 2 days without drinking. Hang in there!

Welcome jds!

Those first days aren't easy. Once you come out on the other side, though, you'll realize it was worth it. Keep reading and posting - we know what it's like and we're here for you.:ghug3

Ill be there tomorrow. Started readying the big book. Best thing I read, I think not just for the fact take sobriety 24 hours at a time, or minutes at a time. It told me to take life just one day at a time. A lot of my anxiety and worries have come from the constant looking at the future. I did well today, read a book, and said Im going to wake up tomorrow, and just focus on tomorrow......and I will be where your at! Day number 2! Thanks for the post, hang in there!
