Thanks Delilah!

I lived in SD for 10 years before moving to Dallas, man I sure do miss the 'berto's, especially Humberto's on 25th and C street in Golden Hill. I miss walking to the Turf Club too and grilling a steak. Good times!

Welcome back, Tom.

I'm in Dallas too. Being iced in has been a blessing & a curse these past few days for me. Thankfully more blessings though. Here's hoping we warm up a bit today!

Well my butt was made of rubber and I did not quite land. I started going to meetings again and reconnected with my old sponsor in February. At the time I could only seem to get a week down and I would drink.

I can happily say that my sobriety date is 4/14/14, pretty easy to remember.

Looking forward to getting my next chip.

This time around is different, we are working the steps, on step 8 now, and spending more time together. I have also discovered that my sponsor and I have a lot in common, so we are becoming friends, I do not have many of those. I used to have tons, not sober friends, those are hard to come by.

Anyhow figured I would check back in, thanks for the encouraging words.

It works if you work it, sucks if you don't.

Yes that was a crazy winter, it's definitely over now! Getting a bit warm.
