I made my first AA meeting tonight. I could relate to everything said. I was a bit nervous but it went well. I plan to keep going.

I was so nervous when I walked into my first meeting. I go daily at this point in my recovery and always helps me feel better. Someone always says just what I need to hear.

When I found the rooms of AA, even though I had never been there before, I knew I was home.

It's the world's largest group that nobody wants to join. Good that you had the normal response to listening to the people there. Hope you picked up some numbers to call before you drink again, and if not you know the AA line is always answered by a member.

You'll never have to go through going to your first one again, and the next time you attend you'll already know some faces.
