Blood glucose results...problem?

Hello, have been sober now for 26 days. Had bloods done day 22 and they want to re-do the blood glucose one following a 24hr fast.... Could I be diabetic?
Quite worried
Has anyone any advice as to a reason for this?
Thankyou.

none of us are Drs Kizzy - a lot of alcoholics turn out to be hypoglycemic tho (low blood sugar).

That can be connected with diabetes, true, but there's many other reasons too and it's usually not a major problem and is easily treated/managed

yes, I was brutally honest for once went from 80 units per week of alcohol to 0, maybe not a wise move?
I take lots of supplements cromium picolinate and cranberry included, think I will drop them.
Like dee said it could be any number of things, trying not to get paranoid haha.

Follow your doctor's advice.
Good on being sober on 26 (now 27) days.

If you didn't fast for your first one Kizzy then that's probably why they want to redo it. They just want to check stuff. It's routine, I've done it a hundred times before (only slight exaggeration) and it's nowt to worry about. Least they're looking after you x
