Hello Ruth. Good to see you are here. First off I agree with Natalie, Read read read. Secondly try not to beat yourself up to much about the slip. Just looking at the fact your here and I assume your starting over is a great sign. One day at a time. I try to remind myself about why I'm sober now. That is usually enough but there are days I need to call on my friends for support and I surround myself with other sober people or take in some activities that there is no access to anything. Ruth.....I was sober two years and relapsed. Now 9 days sober.....this site is great! So much support. We can do this....one day at a time. Keep it simple...good luck:)

I can relate to the relapse! I was sober 13 years and relapsed. Eight years later I am getting sober again. Today I have 51 days. You can do this! This is a wonderful site for tons of information and support; I think it has made a big difference for me.
