So I know I have been complaining or venting lol about feeling down phsyically and mentally. I want to share some positive stuff too. I slept little last night (couldn't sleep, read some stories in the big book) and got thru some stresses at work today and handled them pretty well. Relieved and grateful that I have solved one of my problems from my last relapse (not fully solved but good enough for now..takes times). I am not craving a drink today and I am safely home to end another day sober. It's days like these I need to keep in mind when I am having not so good ones. I just keep thinking "I am so glad I hung on and didn't give in to the drink". So for any newcomers having a tough, horrible day...just hang in because the good days will come! And still, my bad days sober lately are far better than my drunken ones or hungover ones from the past

What good news, quitforme! Yes, the good days will come. Eventually, they will far outweigh the bad. You're doing great. Thanks for letting us know.

Those old days were just so much more difficult. But that horrible disease keeps telling us that sobriety is a chore, and so I keep working it...
