first timer

this is my first time using your site and hope it yields some usefull information, i have been living in a sober home for 15 month being clean and loving it! i am currently playing with the idea of relocating to denver from colorado springs. im hoping to find the same type of siuation that im living in now. the place im staying in is a working house-you need a job-and as there are little to no jobs here, im really considering the move. i guess what im looking for would be any info on such places in denver or an idea on who i can talk to. my sobriety comes first so i want to find a place that offers that with the ability to gain full time employment

Welcome to SR, RA. We're so glad you joined us.

I think you'll find many things to like about being here. You are never alone - we can all relate to what you've been through. Congratulations on your 15 clean & sober months - that's something to be so proud of. I like your positive attitude.

Sorry I don't have any specific info. on the Denver area. I hope someone else will.

Congrats on 15 months...I'm curious if you are doing anything for your recovery besides the sober house? As far as places in Denver go...I guess you could do an Internet search on places. Welcome to SR!

Welcome to the forum,RAMeyers!

I hope you find some information about Denver on the internet. I think a sober house sounds like a great idea..... I'm sure Denver will have some you can look in to. Colorado Springs is a great place, though (my family used to vacation there).

Congrats on your time sober - glad you've joined us!

Welcome RAMeyers

I have no personal info, but I got a lot of hits when I Googled Denver sober living - this page looks like a good start:

74 Sober Living Homes in Denver CO - Transitional Living Home

I hope you'll find one that suits your needs

Hey RA!! Welcome to SR, hope you keep coming back.

If you have access to the internet, why not start googling some places and calling them and seeing what's out there? Good luck, and it sounds like you're doing the right thing and being cautious, good for you!
