Thats awful. Not the type of reminder you were looking for I'm sure. I'm new to this site, but your post caught my eye because my wife will be coming home tues.. She's basically doing the same as you. I'm clean since Dec 12th of last year. Just saying hey, and one day at a time.. Good luck and God bless.
Wow!!! Now that you're getting sober, it won't be the first time you see this happen, besides people I've personally known, three of them, then all of the clients that have either overdosed or committed suicide because of their disease. It gets ugly.
Welcome both of you to SR.

So sorry to hear about your neighbour. Have you got support for the times when you aren't in the program, especially given the recent event? Good luck with the rest of your treatment and well done on your progress so far.
