You know, I just had one of those little moments when you say to yourself: "How good is that?!".
Usual crazy morning, chasing my son around outside trying to get some clothes on him, my wife and daughter having a fight about hair (...), trying to read a few posts. Feelin' o.k but just o.k, you know... And all of a sudden, I get a little message on my screen. A member here wants to add me as a bud on his MSN list. Click the window open and we shoot the breeze for a few minutes. I tell you folks, the little moments. The day is shaping up as something better than o.k. Thanks Gooch.

I agree completely that this is a wonderful place. There have been several times, since last August when I joined, when people here at SR have said exactly the right thing at exactly the right time. When I lost my 17 year old cat in December 2003, the people here understood the enormity of the loss and offered me so much support I couldn't believe it. This is a magical place.
