Happy New Year! One year for me

Well, it's been one year without a drink. One awesome year. Ups and downs, but I got thru it all. I celebrated Valentines Day, St. Patrick's Day, 4th of July, Halloween, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Day. I celebrated my 40th birthday, went on a vacation (cruise), hung out in a bar (once or twice), went on a work retreat, survived family for the holidays.

It's all been great! Life is better on this side. I feel sorry for those still struggling, still on those "today is day 1" -- over and over again. That sounds like torture to me. I'd rather get sober just the one time.

Thanks to everyone here who's supported me along the way. SR is a very integral part of my life and I'm so glad it is here. Love you all!

So this year has been all about me. This next year is going to be all about others. Spreading the message and helping others who have been where I have been.

I also plan on losing some major weight!
