Day one
Have you looked into any recovery programs? I know you are still reeling from the physical effects, but generally we are more willing to do what is necessary to stay sober when we're feeling down and out.

I can't get to NA because there aren't Any meetings within an hour. Have I said that already, sorry if I'm repeating myself. I spent a few years in NA years back when I gave up the other shiz and got as much out of it as I allowed myself to at age 21. I feel I would get much more out of it now. Our computer is not working well so I can't access any online meetings at the moment either, my phone won't do it.
What else is there?
Must ring counsellor tomorrow.

Yeah. There's no AA here either, sorry i should have been more clear. I'd have to drive an hour to get to one. I so want to move back to the city! I probably still have my nA literature here somewhere. I might have a look.
Congrats for making it to day 2! I stayed in bed (with my laptop) for the first couple days, too. One hour or one minute at a time. By day 4 I was smiling.... it just felt so good to wake up without anxiety. I couldn't remember the last time I noticed the birds singing outside my window. Stay strong - it's worth it!!
