Thanks for all the welcomes.
Sapling,
I am working the steps and I am still looking for a sponsor.
In addition, I belong to Women for Sobriety and attend two meetings a week with that group. I also am reading some type of recovery book everyday.
Any suggestions about getting a sponsor? I don't feel like I know the people in my Chicks at Six well enough and they don't know me. It's a pretty big group.
Thanks for your concern.

We explain to our partner what we are about to do and why we have to do it. He should realize that we are engaged upon a life-and-death errand. Most people approached in this way will be glad to help; they will be honored by our confidence.
He took me through the steps and we're good friends now....He has eight years...I have a year and a half. Try some different meetings if you don't hear what you need to hear....You'll know...I'll send you a few prayers myself.

Sapling,
Good Advice,. I will try some meetings that are a little more intimate. The chicks at 6 group has about 45 participants. It's a big book meeting.
Tonight I go to my Women for Sobriety meeting. There are only 12 women.
Thanks for replying,
